A LEEDS recruitment company which specialises in recruiting senior leadership posts for the education sector has designed and developed a website for a local primary school as part of an initiative to support schools at a grassroots level.
Education Futures, which is part of Futures.co.uk, worked with its retained web design agency to provide the new website for Rawdon Littlemoor Primary School.
Headmistress Mrs Shelagh Henderson says: “All schools need a good website, but due to budget constraints, our last site, like most other schools, was an off the shelf template that did the job but had little style and was not easy to navigate. Our website is often the first port of call for people choosing a new school as well as a helpful place for existing parents and families to find out about everything from lunch menus through to our latest news and reports, so when Education Futures offered to create a new site for us we were absolutely delighted.
“The design and functionality of our new site is second to none. In fact when the Ofsted inspectors last visited our school, they described it as the best school website they had ever seen! Our parents, teachers and pupils all absolutely love the site which is both informative and fun. It is also fully compatible with the main social media channels which allows us to blog and tweet as well as share news on facebook.”
Tom Liptrot, managing director of Futures.co.uk, says: “Having worked in the education sector for over 12 years, we understand both the financial and time constraints that many schools are under so we were keen to provide practical support for a school that is on our doorstep.
“The new website really showcases all the fantastic work the school does, with a lovely design-style, alongside a game zone for pupils, and easy to use areas for parents to access a whole host of information on the school and we are delighted to have been able to deliver such a first-rate site for Rawdon Littlemoor Primary School.”
